Hi All, I try to read date and time from Meter.

1.1.0.9.1.255:2 -> I get the time

1.1.0.9.2.255:2 -> I get the message change type failed. Not enought data

I am using Gurux DLMS Client Example in Python.

Please guide to resolve the error.

For HLS ECDSA Authorization defined, that CtoS string (transferred in CallingAuthenticationValue of AARQ) have to be 32..64 bytes long.
While Gurux send only 16 bytes.

How will I read block-profile data from logical devices of DCU(Data Concentrator Unit) one by one without breaking socket connection?

The scenario is that I have a DCU and 40 meters. All 40 meters are connected with DCU. The DCU has an IP and a port for communication. The DCU is able to read data from all 40 meters and stores data according to its logical device.

I want to retrieve data from all logical devices of DCU using my client application with breaking only logical device channel but without breaking socket connection.

Hi Miko,

Using DLMS client example (cpp) for LG E650 I get "Use Logical Name referencing is wrong. Change it!", but I am shure that I choose 'false' for 'useLogicalNameReferencing'. If I set it to 'true' I get 'AARQRequest failed (273) Rejected permament'.

What am I doing wrong?

I read advice in some threads that we can make the process of reading the meter faster by first reading association view and then save/ cache this view on the file system. Later we can load this cached view and avoid reading association view thus making process faster.
Is this supported in C library? Are there any methods which can help in saving association view on file system and load it in DLMC C library? Or any example of the same?

Can anyone suggest me a solution in dlms python, where I should still try to restart my access to the meter when there is a power failure.

ie, when a power failure occurres, the code should keep reinitiating a connection and once a connection is established, continue to read the data. While I have a minor modification for keep polling for the data, was not successful in reinitiating the connection automatically
