I'm doing some tests about access to Meter OBISs using DLMS\COSEM protocol, with GXDLMSDirector, but I have different behaviours with different version of this software or GURUX library.

For a customer, I have a DLMS smartmeter that I can connect via Optical Port,
It has HighGMAC authentication, I know phisical and logical Server and client address
It connects both with HDLC and Wrapper, I don't know the difference (I will appreciate if you can address me on some documentation)
Start Protocol is DLMS, with Logical Name Referencing,
I have both Block Cipher Key and Authentication Key.

Hello I'm trying to connect to a Calin CA168 meter. Since I don't have the optical cord with me, I am connecting to the Calin DCU via RS-485. I am unable to connect to them since Calin isn't on the list of manufacturers. I also tried Gurux as a manufacturer and same problem occurred.

This is the error code I keep getting: Failed to receive a reply from the device in a given time.

I have get some datas from the GXDLMSDirector. I don't know it's worked or not, If it's working right please tell me which is KWh,KVArh. I have attached the screen shot below. And one more thing I used new ER300P meter, So no load is connected to yet.

I think in GXDLMSDirector the "clock" object shows incorrect time. According to standard, as I have seen, the "time" attribute is local date and time and that is what is returned by the meter () but GXDLMSDirector changes that according to deviation of time zone and daylight saving time (and maybe some other things).
Also "time_zone" attribute value is doubtful. If time zone is GMT+3, the deviation should be +180 min, not -180 min.
I'm not exactly sure about these issues so could you please clarify them.

I need to change the operating mode of the customer port from HDLC to real-time port. It's possible? what OBIS code should I use? How should I do? thank you.

I'm trying to read data from the new SAPHIR counters installed by ENEDIS on different production and consumption sites in France
.
Does anyone have experience working with this kind of technology? I'm trying to manually create the Manufacturer and OBIS Code configuration to access them, but there are some things that I'm not sure how to configure, specially authentication using the "clé client".

I found an inconsistent behavior of Gurux DLMS Director while writing a value to a meter.

It is a Data Class where the Value attribute have type OCTET-STRING[12]

If I read the value, the meter answer with something like this:

09 0C xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx which is correct.

If I write the value, the Gurux DLMS director generates something like this:

0A 0C xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx xx

Using the latest version of the Director I found some problems in the structure of the GXDLMSProfileGeneric for the logical name 1.0.99.1.0.255 of the load profiles (but not only).

A + (1.0.99.1.0.255) does not have the Scaler and Unit values
Q1 (1.1.5.4.0.255) has them
Q4 (1.1.8.4.0.255) does not have them
A- (1.1.2.4.0.255) has them
Q2 (1.1.6.4.0.255) does not have them
Q3 (1.1.7.4.0.255) has them
