Hello,
first, I would like to say hello to everybody, especially Mikko - kudos to your knowledge and great job that you're doing :). Hope the DLMSDirector forum is right place for me to ask.
I am using GXDLMSDirector 9.0.2508.2701 and I would like to display a descriptive text for a numeric status value defined in manufacturer OBX settings.
For example, the device returns:
UInt8 = 64
and the OBX file contains:
"...<GXObisValueItem>
<Value>64</Value>
<UIValue>Valve closed due to remote or local control</UIValue>
</GXObisValueItem>..."
The desired presentation is simply:
Value: Valve closed due to remote or local control
instead of:
Value: 64
I can achieve the Value -> UIValue mapping using:
<UIValueType>3</UIValueType>
but this displays the value as a CheckedListBox. This is not ideal for a status attribute, especially if the attribute is read-only. (There is also another problem with this, which I'll mention in other post)
I can't get it displayed as a normal read-only TextBox, without a dropdown list or checkboxes, no matter which UIValueType I choose. I will also 'report' it in other post in a broader context.
So, the question is:
Is there currently a supported way to apply the GXObisValueItem.Value -> UIValue mapping while keeping UIValueType=TextBox?
If not, could this be considered as a feature request?
Thank you.
