I am getting ServiceError ReadException. Service Unsupported while trying to read anything from Secure Premier 300 meter. Log is given below.

I am working with GXDLMSDirector configured as:

Authentication: HighGMAC
Interface: HDLC
Media: Serial
Security: AuthenticationEncryption

When I use the 8.1.2005.1401 version(old version) gurux works fine with my meter, but when I try to establish an association with 8.2.2006.1702 version(new version), gurux sends the message:

Access Error: Device reports a hardware fault.

I have this when talking to my meter, I was told simple security, password 12345, using serial port.

I think the problem is parsing the addressing, see the DLMS translation below.
According to docs I received, addressing seems to be 7-bit per byte, and LSB = 0 for long address, 1 for short address. You ALWAYS uses the physical server and long addresses.

As I see it, you send target 2001 = long way to write 0x21 aka 0x10 << 1 + 1.
For source you use 29 in SNRM request, that is 0x14 << 1 + 1 - So that is fine

I am reading the obis 0.0.96.50.50 and when I change the value and try to do the write operation, a popup 'Invalid cast from 'System.String' to 'Gurux.DLMS.GXBitString' appears. I have never experienced this earlier. Can you please help me with this.

hello, i have tried Gurux with holley ddsd285 and some other types and still facing the same errors when trying to edit access to read or write, kindly check the images below.
and also when requesting a reset process for a value i'm getting : Access error : Device reports a hardware fault with the yellow caution of : Device reports a undefined object.

everything else is working fine, but i still can't write even when connecting in low authentication mode with 00000000 as pwd.

i'm using a serial connection, please advise.

The time/date value shown on all pages is adjusted to timezone/local time of the laptop/pc on which we are using Gurux. But, if the meter is in different time zone & laptop/pc is in different time zone, then it creates confusion as the date/time recorded in meters memory & date/time shown on gurux pages does not match.

Is there any option available to show the time/date value as it is, without considering the timezone of laptop/pc ?
