We are using DLMS Director for testing meter. We have modified the RLRQ to support protective request to pass the CTT. Now we are facing the disconnection issue with Gurux director. We have tried with advance option (Use Protected Release) but still failing in graceful disconnection. Could you please guide us the setting we need to apply in Gurux director to resolve this problem.

Also, we are observing "Media Close" issue with TCP wrapper. Please also guide us the reason for that why the director showing this error.

The older version can change the access right of object before.
After upgrading to the new version, the access right can not modify.

My EMH LZQJ-CX is connected via a serial port server (Moxa). The serial port server operating mode is TCP Server. GXDLMDirector connects to that meter without a problem. I copied command line parameters from GXDLMDirector and tried to use them as parameters for Gurux.DLMS.Client.Example.Net. Unfortunately, this time the meter did not respond to the SNRM request. I have compared SNRM frames sent by GXDLMDirector and Gurux.DLMS.Client.Example.Net, and they are different. I wonder why.

I would like to request support to identify how I can Read an Itron ACE6000 or SL7000 meter using a different password than the one defined as Electricity Utility laboratory in the Itron Software, for example with any of the password associated with Electricity utility field, Electricity reader, End customer, or Engineer. I think this is related to the value of the Client Address, Logical Server and Physical Server in GXDLMSDirector. If someone knows what the corresponding values are, could help me?

I have become a real fan of your software, unfortunately I keep running into problems, so here's a question again:

When trying to read a profile no data appears. There are 10 entries, which I can read out without problems using .MAP110 (software from Landis+Gyr). In the Director this usually does not work. Sometimes data appears but most of the time it does not. Do you have any idea what the problem is?

I am using GuruX director v8.2.2111.1801. I have made a setup to to periodically pull data from 5 meters over 4G TCP wrapper. I sometimes observed that communication is failing because of additional garbage bytes appended at the beginning of the frame. I tried probing meter to see if meter is sending these garbage values but didnt find any garbage outputting from meter. Your view on understanding the problem would help solve the issue.

Also one more observation when it happens is, part of previous response bytes gets appended to subsequent responses.

Please I am working on a Clou meter, CL730D21L. Could you please help with the communication interface properties of the RS485 i.e. baud rate, parity, stop bits, etc; Low and HighGMAC Authentication passwords and client address in each case. I intend to use the details to connect to the meter using DLMSDirector. Thanks

since the last update of the GXDMLSDirector (15.11.2021) I get the following error message when connecting:

LLC bytes are missing from the message.

The version before the update, as well as Old Gurux DLMS Director for .Net 3.5 worked fine with the same setting.

Is there anything I need to do with the new version?

I have the following problem, I have like 10 HolleyMetering Meters connected to a DCU and I want to read there data, I have their password and all meters supposed to have the same configuration.
I have disconnected a meter from the daisy chain loop and tried to connect to it using RS485 and GuruxDirector. I have been able to read the meter successfully using the provided password, but when i try to read another meter it wont read even though they have the same configuration (I disconnected the other meter from the loop to try and read it as the first one).
