We are using Gurux DLMS Translator tool in Gurux Director to analyze communication with meter using SS2 and Digital signature function enable with ECDSA P384.
In order to establish association with meter, auth and block cipher Keys pass to be 32 bytes length (instead of 16 bytes in SS0 and SS1). When indicating 32 bytes length in Ciphering tab in DLMS translator, with Secuity Suite 2 selected, we face these errors:
- invalid block cipher key
- Invalid authentication key

First of all, I'm sorry if this query is already asked in the forum. I am new to DLMS so trying to figure some things out.

I am trying to read values in the GXDLMSDirector but it is giving an error saying 'Specifying argument was out of the range of valid values'. I am using the server example given on github () and in the DLMSDirector, I'm using the manufacturer as Gurux, Hostname as localhost and Port as 4061 as it is the one for connection over TCP/IP.

Hello, I have been trying to configure a TOU tariff on my meter trhough Gurux Director, however i have some doubts about how to implement a TOU structure in the meter.

I have create an Activity Calendar, then i have create an script table that contains all the OBIS code related with tariff 1:
1.0.1.8.1.255,1.0.1.8.2.255,1.0.1.8.3.255...

However in the configuration phase of this OBIS I dont really know what means the following parameters

I guess my first question is, is it possible to use DLMSDirector to connect to an Elster A1700 (or AS230)?

I keep getting 'Failed to receive answer from the modem. Check serial port' - although the modem is dialing the number and the modem attached to the meter is answering (from listening in).

I have downloaded Gurux DLMS Director for .Net 4.6.

As per the direction from the page Gurux.DLMS.Simulator, i am trying to start the simulator by dotnet bin/Debug/netcoreapp3.1/Gurux.DLMS.Simulator.Net.dll.

Its showing "counld not execute because the specied command or file was not found".

dotnet --info is showing version 5.0.302

I an unable to find any of the Gurux.DLMS.Simulator files in my computer

Do I need to download any other files

Hello. I didn't see Start Protocol in the new version of the DLMS director.
But I have to read this meter with an optical port and I don't know how can I do this with the new DLMS Director.

I created a sample meter with an Arduino Mega using Gurux's sample Arduino code then tried to connect to it using the DLMS director. I If I connect with the authentication set to High and password as 'Gurux' (as described in Gurux's youtube video about the DLMS director) I get an error message: 'Invalid password. Server to Client challange do not match.' I am able to connect to the meter when I set the authentication to none. Request you to please help in this regard.
