I try to read data from landis+gyr ZMD405CR44 using USB to optical eye with DLMSDirector. But I don't know how to setup parameter that can make me to read with it.

Please give to some guide on how to do it.

Hi I am working on Secure 300 Premier Energy Meter, I am using RS232 to TTL Converter. I have the following questionaries below

1. Do we need to short the 4,6 pins as well as the 7&8 pins in DB9 Connector.
2. If yes, these pins are not connected to RJ11 connector, what is the reason of shorting these pins?
3. In RS232 Trans receiver IC, Can I use T2out and R2in pins as CTS and RTS pins and can i pull up these pins with external resistor ?

Hi Mr. Kurumi , I want to connect with SHA1 authentication level to my Hexing meter. The GXDLMS Director don't support that function in the Authentication menu (only none, low, high) for that manufacturer .
How can I add that function manually or how can I connect with SHA1 authentication level when I try to connect with my meter?? Is possible to do that?? Please support me.

Hello, i'm trying to connect with a Wasion meter in GXDLMSDirector, i finally got access to the official software with Wasion, i tried putting the same keys/authentication, etc, but when i try to read the same register i read in the official software, GXDLMS returns "Exception response. "Service not allowed"-exception. Operation not possible".

Using Director, we can read the instantaneous values but when we tried to read the profile generics, especially the billing tables and load profile tables, we were unable to read and received error message popups with the words "Unacceptable frame."

This happened no matter we tried to set server address size to 4 or default.

Kindly note that this happens only when we try to read the profile generics.

Please advise.

I am trying to connect to a Shenzhen CLOU meter with Director, the Director returns Failed to receive reply from the device in given time after a while.

I need to add new user defined object to my device. If I use from menu "Tools/OBIS Codes.../New" I am able to make new OBIS code (for example 1.1.192.128.0.255), but for class Id I have only combobox contains predefined values. How can I define new "manufacturer specific" class Id to use it?
Cite from blue book:
class_id-s from 8 192 to 32 767 are reserved for manufacturer specific ICs.

most of the not but not always, when GXDLMSDirector receive ACK string "<ACK>252<CR><LF>" close the port and show message "Element Not Found"
