Hi.
i can connect to meter with GXDLMSDirector via serial port.
i then push some register to a specific IP (that our server IP) and i can read its pushed values

it has some byte probably showing status header, clock, register, ... and every thing i selected to push and many 0 afterward
its 127 byte (my configured packet was of size 127)

but i cant decode these bytes, i don't know what they mean each.

i get these values from TCP server i made for testing

Why this error comes everytime.I have to switch off the meter to download it again.

I'm trying to find example code which can decode asn.1 packets encoded by A-XDR.

Do you know any type of Packets in COSEM spec which is composed according to ASN.1 + A-XDR?
Or any other protocols which used ASN.1 + A-XDR ?

Hi Everyone. I want to know, if someone can help me to know how I can read the event registers from Itron meters. I have the Obis Code from this. This corresponds to group C, D, and E of the obis code for events that I try to read:
C.2.0 Event parameters change - counter
C.2.1 Event parameters change - timestamp
C.51.1 Event terminal cover opened - counter
C.51.2 Event terminal cover opened - timestamp

But how can i get the unit and division factor for the generic profile

What is the difference between DLMS and ASN.1?

DLMS: Device Language Message Specification which are used by IEC62056
ASN.1:Abstract Syntax Notation One (ASN.1) is a standard interface description language for defining data structures that can be serialized and deserialized in a cross-platform way.

Are they both the same kind of language used in metering protocols?

I want to check if the meter I have from Holley works with DLMS or IEC?
there is DLMS logo on it and there are 2 lines of IEC62053 written on it
And I tried to send /?!\n\r to it and it replied with /HLY5\.......
