Set Value in the DLMS object

Forums
Gurux.DLMS

Hi Mikko,

I have successfully read the value from the meter using your library. I retrieved the clock object and its Time attribute value, then converted the response into an Epoch value.

Now, I need to convert the Epoch value to the actual time using the client.updateValue function.

Can you guide me on how to correctly set this value into the DLMS object?

Gurux.DLMS

Hi,

We have been trying to set up the Gurux DLMS simulator for load testing. Following the steps outlined in the Gurux repository, we generated the simulator template for client address 48 using the command below:

c:\HES\gurux.dlms.java\gurux.dlms.simulator.java>java -jar target/gurux.dlms.simulator.java-0.0.1-SNAPSHOT.jar -h -p -i WRAPPER -c 48 -a High -P -C AuthenticationEncryption -T -A -B -v 0.0.43.1.3.255 -d India -t Verbose -o allied_simulator_template.xml -t Verbose

Saving access rights in associations (Python)

Forums
Gurux.DLMS

Hello, I noticed that when saving an association, access rights are not saved correctly. When reading the access rights of an object, I get None or the rights do not match those written in AssociationLogicalName.

item = self.reader.client.objects.findByLN(ObjectType.NONE, "1.0.15.8.0.255")
print(item.getAccess(3))
#result Read/Write, but in AssociationLogicalName i see only Read
print(item.getAccess(2))
#result None but in AssociationLogicalName i see only Read

Maybe there is a different way to read these rights?
Thanks for answer.

segmentation_and_get response_with_blocks

Forums
Gurux.DLMS

Hi ,
thanks in advance for your help and attention.
I am trying to read from a meter a load profile with authentication and encryption. The content of load profile is huge so that we receive from meter a get response with blocks and each block is segmented at lower level HDLC.
We came across a problem with first block. We can receive from the meter all frames belonging to first block. As you know the different frames of first block are collected in the object GXReplaydata and so in an instance of GXByteBuffer.

Correct way to set GXDate/GXTime/GXDateTime

Forums
Gurux.DLMS

Hello,

I just started with you Python library. I'm trying to set some DateTime for a "Single action schedule" (class_id = 22) and can't find a correct way to set those. If i use the "Datetime" python format is OK, something like this:

"GXDateTime(datetime(1900, 1, 1, 0, 0, 0, 0), datetime)"

This limits me since i can't set anything that falls outside of this format, like:
* Don't care values.
* Last day of month/year.
* Anykind of dayofWeek.

No AARE response received

Forums
Gurux.DLMS

Hello Sir,

I have been stuck with a problem for a long time. I am trying to get the meter data using TCP/IP. I assigned this IP to the meter using the manufacturer-provided application: 13.201.58.127:9090. I am perfectly able to fetch data using the COM port in Gurux Director, but I am unable to do it with TCP/IP.

I created a server that listens to port 9090, on which I am sending the SNRM request and parsing the UA response. However, when sending the AARQ request, I am not receiving any AARE response. I am using the Gurux Python client to get the data.
