Invalid Authentication key. Issue with deciphering

Forums
DLMSDirector

I am trying to connect and read/write data from a meter using DLMS over UDP. I cannot use Gurux DLMS Director because the meter has a dynamic IP address, so I am reusing the UDP connection to my server to send the requests to the meter. However, I am facing issues, and I haven’t been able to read anything so far.

To debug, I am using the Gurux Translator within Director to check the decryption, but it fails. These are the parameters I set:

Readable push schedule time

Forums
DLMSDirector

Hi,

I am currently debugging the DLMSDirector project and noticed an issue when reading the datetime OBIS code (0.0.15.0.4.255). The output in the Director window shows in following readable form:

{} → *-*-* *:*:*
{01 12:00:00.000 AM} → 01-*-* 12:00:00 AM
It appears that certain values are replaced with *. Could you please guide me on whether there is an inbuilt function responsible for this conversion? If so, where can I check its implementation?

Looking forward to your response.

So I am connecting to a Metcom meter with no problem using an IR probe. Everything seemed fine but I think there is something wrong with the Profile Generics. When trying to read it I get an error:

DLMSDirector

Hello Mikko,

Trying to connect with meter using different security settings.
Connection is ok with None, Encryption, AuthenticationEncryption.

Can't connect with Security=Authentication.
Block Cipher Key, Authentication key, Broadcast Key values are set in Device Properties - Secured Connections Tab and Security Setup object via "Update Key" button.
Using "Suite0" Security suite.

Could you give me a hint, please?

Here is exchange log:

IEC Local Port setup

Forums
DLMSDirector

Hello Mikko,

Seems to me that GXDLMSIECLocalPortSetupView in InitializeComponent() should be changed from
this.DefaultModeTB.Type = Gurux.DLMS.Enums.ValueFieldType.TextBox;
to
this.DefaultModeTB.Type = Gurux.DLMS.Enums.ValueFieldType.CompoBox;

In other case it is impossible to change default mode via UI

DLMS translator message decode result

Forums
DLMSDirector

Hello Mikko,

I've used DLMS translator a lot before and this is the first time when result is not ok. Could you please take a look - is it a meter communication problem or something else?
Translator gives me a strange result while decoding following data exchange:

SHIJIAZHUANG KELIN Electric Meter- GetObjects failed. Insufficient memory to continue the execution of the program.

Forums
DLMSDirector

Hello,

I am able to successfully connect to a SHIJIAZHUANG KELIN ELECTRIC (https://www.sinokelectric.com/) meter using the director. However, any attempt to read data throws the following error: “GetObjects failed. Insufficient memory to continue the execution of the program.”

Any assistance in resolving this error would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
