I have an HXE5\2HXF300 meter and I can connect but don´t read association view.

Negotiated:
BlockTransferWithGetOrRead, BlockTransferWithSetOrWrite, Get, Set, SelectiveAccess, EventNotification, Action

I try to read any objet (Ex: 0.0.1.0.0.255) without sucess.
Response is "Access Error: Read-write denied"

Command line with -v "0.0.1.0.0.255" return "Access Error : Device reports a undefined object."

Any idea?

Hi Mikko, in this topic: https://www.gurux.fi/forum/16758 you mentioned that Wasion aMeter100 is compatible, I have a unit here but I tried several addresses/configs and didn't have any luck on trying to connect to it. Can you share what settings this meter uses for default? Thanks

I'm trying to implement gurux arduino to retreive data from Itron meter via RS232 port. After some tweaking on few parameter, finally I can connect to the meter and read several info.
Currently i'm using DLMS_AUTHENTICATION_LOW for authentication with some password and DLMS_INTERFACE_TYPE_HDLC

The question is why I'm only getting this two parameter. which is logical device name and clock. I haven't modify anything from sample code except the initialization.

I have issue we’ve encountered with the GuruxDLMSTranslator tool. Specifically, it seems that the Data List is missing from the GetResponseWithList function.

Is there a way to access a DLMS DCU via SOCKS proxy?
The DCU is running on a APN to which I don't have direct access. I can do a ssh SOCKS proxy tunnel to a linux machine which is in this APN and usually this is what I do when I have to access the grid meters which are running the plain text protocol. Is there any way to configure the Director (and the client library) to make the connection via the SOCKS proxy? I didn't see anything proxy related in the Settings class of the client example. I am using the Java implementation.

This is my first approach to DLMS world. I have two itron SL7000 761 I'm able to read using ACE pilot proprietary software via serial modem.
on same pc using same modem I'm unable to get a connection with GXDLMSDirector as I always get error "connection failed: no carrier (when telephone call was being established). +CEER: Normal call clearing".
The only settings I'm not sure is the serial port flow control that should be XON/XOFF and I don't know where to check, but since it get the +CEER I suppose that's ok.

I use GXDirector version 8.

In SecureSetup write value Policy = AuthenticatedRequest+AuthenticatedResponse.

Step 1.
In GXDirector on tab SecuredConnection set Security=Authentication. Authorization result - success.

Hi, the newest director(9.0.2405.2801) keeps reporting error of “Decrypt failed.Invalid authentication tag.”when I use general-signing & gmac. I have checked the authentication tag,and it is correct.
In addition, I test with an older version of director,and it works well.The version maybe 8.2.xxxx.xxxx. Is there some difference between two version？

i was wondering, can i use simulator without physical meter, so that i can test my program via serial port or net? The plan is, i want to create arduino program for ESP that can receive and send data back to meter using hdlc protocol. So can i create that program and try to test in the Gurux GXDLMSDirector only to see if the program really works?
