I try to connect with a landis E570 through optical interface. The connection seems OK, but the AARQ failed, the meter has a strange behaviour sending 2 frames AARE. Here are the details of the exchange.
The exchange was done without security, address 0x10.

i use Gurux GXDLMSDirector to connect with my electricity meter (Landis Gyr E550) and i try to understand in details DLMS communication. I have stucked in association view part and i would like to decode information which goes from meter to computer after association request. i put log below and information which are interest me locates in "Next frame Value". I know that this information is one part of object list, but i don't know how to decode this. I would be grateful for any help.

Under certain circumstances, GXDLMSDirector seems to be reporting group D with a lower (-1) value than what the meter is configured with.

The attached capture shows L+G's configuration software MAP120, with version 8.2.2104.2901 of GXDLMSDirector as the backdrop.

We can observe the OBIS code for the third capture object is "1-1:1.5.0", whereas Director shows it as "1.1.1.4.0.255". Demand registers seem to exhibit the discrepancy, but the other registers (clock and status) appear unaffected.

Is this expected behaviour?

i am facing issue with reading Iskra ME372 Dlms meter using GuruxDLMSDirector software.
I can read the meter using optical probe with below settings
Mode : HDLC with ModE,
client ID - 64
authentication -low
password -12345678
logical server -1, physical -17

I am testing Lowest level with suite0 and non suite mode.

with non suite it is working just fine but for suite0 it is not working.

before switching to suite0 from non suite mode i update the following settings:
Security connections => 1. system title, 2. Block cipher key 3. Authentication key

System title: 12345678
Block cipher and authentication keys: 0123456789abcdef

I have two identical IskraEmeco meters.
In Meterview(software from producer) they are identical and both works fine.
Im trying using GXDLMSDirector to connect to both of them.
One works always but the second one gives me always "Authentication required" error.
Of course password is 100% correct.
Settings from director below.
Any idea ?

Hello Mikko,
I am tring to read out the meters using a PLC Modem.
I use an Evaluation Kit from Microchip PL360-EK.
I am programming the board as Service modem.
I get some data (trace) but no available meters are shown. Although I have meters connected to the PLC network.
Would you please tak a look in the trace? and let me know your comments

Hello,

For GMac SecuritySuite and Authentication Security DLMSDirector doesn't allow to enter Block Cipher Key.
While CGM operations requires both Authentication Key and Block Cipher Key. Even if we use Authentication only Security
