i'm a software engineer specialized in front-end and middleware, so i know absolutely nothing (except from what google taught me) about smart meters, electrical metering, etc.

We have a client that needs to read dat files. As far as i know, these DAT files are converted to Excel files by a software called "Notus XLS" from Actaris. We can't open the files directly with excel. they must be converted.

for now, we have only the information in the beggining of the file, that we can read using a HEX editor:

Landis+gyr DC450 installed and Landis+Gyr meters communication on PLC(Power Line comm) with DC450.

We are trying read meter data on DC450. I am not sure But we can get PLC meters data with web service on DC450. We can't find any document about Web Service running on DC450. Is there any one read meters data from DC450? Can you suggest any document about this issue?

Hello, I am using Gurux.DLMS.cpp Client to read the data from a ZIV smart meter. However, I am able to read only a few objects from the meter. In addition I am not able to read even the clock, I have put the client address and the server address but it only can read a few objects.
Does anyone knows if anything else is required to read from the meter?

With 300 I just send .!?..

How do I do it at 9600?

I have tried 0x06 0x30 0x35 0x30 0x8d 0x0a
But when port is then set to 9600 I read all 0x00 0x00 0x00.

Is there a specific Readout Command for IEC before switching to DLMS?

In GitHub i can see GuruxDLMSClientExample, GuruxDLMSPushExample, GuruxDLMSServerExample so which project i should use and where to start. i know its a very basic question. plz guide me to start it.
