Is there a library that can be used to pack data (data to xml) before transferring to 1 for writing to the device? Or is it possible to make the data transferred as is (in object GXObject), and the packaging (data to xml) was in ami?

When reading object Data or Register, for example, 0.0.94.27.1.255 attribute 2 is of type Uint16, but in ami comes dataType 0. And while process write, attribute has value "<String Value=\"30\"/>\r\n"
and an error occurs:
Access Error : Device reports a unmatched type.

We are designing AMR LTE modem to read meter reading via RS232 port with DLMS protocol and send the reading to meter management software. Do you know that mostly meter management software requires DLMS protocol as well? To design the AMR LTE modem with DLMS, where shall I start? Please point me to the right documentation.

By the way, if anyone have the structure overview of reading from meter and sending to the server, it will be good to visualize the data flow.

I am trying to read meter from Gurux AMI

Meter is acting as server.

GuruxAMI is client .

When i am trying to read meter . AMI is disconnecting request from meter after every read and trying to read meter by making new connection .

Due to this most of the request response are "failed to receive data in given time".

please help . i am stuck in this.

I need to understand few things related to reading load profile of meters.

1. We can successfully full meter load profile using AMI.
2. Now , once we read all data of read profile.
we need to read load profile data on incremental basis .

so , what we can pass in GXValue to read load profile data of that range .
