We tested our meter with Gurux Macro Editor ,in between communication the meter
was rejected the requested frame.As per our analysis the meter rejected the requested frame
due to control octet , would you please check the given frame ( frame count is 00 00 00 7E) and clarify my doubt.

I am very new to meter programming and i have been assigned a project to develop a .Net application to read meter values through GSM SIM Card.

I have been exploring GXDLMSDirector for a couple of months now but don't seem to be able to get the meter configured to connect to GXDLMSDirector.

Any assistance as to how to configure the meter and the application will be very much appreciated.

In Hdlc Settings in the client given as max payload size in transmit/receive side =256.
then in Advanced tab MAX PDU size is upto 256 to 262 only objects downloading remaining cases client throwing error as get objects failed unacceptable frame.
if connection established with MAX PDU Size 256. I am not able to read billing data.
please help me where is the problem.

We have some questions concerning the ciphering process and it will be great if you can clarify them:

1- Can you please explain to us what the difference between the dedicated key and the block cipher key and the case of use? Same what the difference between the ded and glo services, are they linked to the previous keys?

2- In the GXDLMSDirector there is any tool that can cipher and decipher the messages (after filling the keys and all the data needed)? If yes, what is it and what are we supposed to fill?
