Hi,
I am trying to communicate with the Metcom MCS301 electricity meter through the Gurux GXDLMSDirector program. I am also attaching a screenshot of the settings. Can you advise me how to find out the physical address of the electricity meter?

Hi,

Are you receiving any reply from the meter? Are you using an optical probe or RS-232?

Each meter manufacturer is defining used physical address and you should be able to communicate using those addresses with 301.

I use RS-485. I don't get answers from the electricity meter because I can't find out its physical address. I couldn't find anything about the address in the documentation for the electricity meter.

Hi,

Change the interface from HdlcWithModeE to HDLC if you are connecting with RS-485.
