Hi,
First of all thanks for making all this software open source.
I'm trying to get some readings from our Landis & Gyr E650 with CU-P42 meter.

This meter has an RS485 port. The port is currently connected to this USB to RS485 converter

Pin1 from the RS485 port is connected to GND of the converter
Pin2 -> A
Pin3 -> B
I tried the DLMS director with the default settings for Landis & Gyr but so far without any luck. I get the error that it can't connected in a given time.
Does anyone knows the right settings for this meter?

The reason usually is the wiring or serial port settings. It also might be that your meter address is wrong.
Do you have an optical connection for the meter? If you have, you can read the correct serial port settings from the meter. You can also try to find the correct settings like describe here:

I have to say that the easiest way is if you can connect using an optical probe and read the correct settings.
