I want to know where are obis code descriptions available in dlms client for java?
When i run dlms client i get logical name and class name. But it gives "invalid" description for all.

I am trying to connect to a meter that uses HDLC addressing. The manufacturer has said the system uses 2-byte HDLC addressing scheme. The physical device address given is 66 and the logical device id is given as 1. What server id I should use in order to connect to the meter?

Hi . im going to make an android application to read OBIS codes of DLMS meters.
I plan to recieve DLMS data by an Optical port which is connected to OTG port of the phone or Tablet andi Im writing the app codes in Android Studio. Can someone help me how to define DLMS protocol in Android Studio ?
How can i send codes to the meter ? How does it recieve data from the meter?

Is there a way through which i could seperate out the different security aspects like encryption, decryption, authentication etc. from the jar. I want to use an HSM for these purposes. So i will be passing a non-encrypted message to HSM which will encrypt it for me and then i will be sending this encrypted message through the jar. Is is possible to do so?

We want to use key agreement feature of DLMS COSEM to exchange new keys with the meter. In this type we need to use ephermal key pair(for public key ) and a signing key pair(for private key). How these keys will be generated? Will these be provided to me by the manufacturer or will we randomly generate these?
