I am trying to read an OMNIA eMeter (new model) with GuruX. I have got GPK35 and GPK36 key from Kamstrup but I am not really sure how to get GuruX to connect to the meter through the optical eye. There is a lot of settings that I am not sure of. Any Ideas that could help me? :)

I am trying to read a DLMS meter. It draws supply for communication using RTS/ DTS pins of the serial port. On Windows application, everything works just fine. However, it does not work using Android because RTS or DTR pins cannot be controlled using serial port component.
Is there any way to set RTS or DTR high while still using Android Serial component.

I am trying to read the Landys-Gyr E650, via a Kocos optical eye. I have had success connecting with the GXDLMSDirector but I cannot connect using the python example. I am VERY new to this sort of thing so please bear with me.

I try to copy/ paste the command line given by the Director but the results are the following:

I've been trying to connect to my smart meter using GXSerial object in java.
Using some sample code I've set up and can open connection. how do i send data in order to get a response (like serial number of meter) .
Also when i reach the GXSerial.receive(); section of the java application the it doesn't go further.

I am using Arduino Mega to read the LnT Meter DLMS Part 2.
We our successfully getting data through gurux software, Now we to have implement Arduino Mega to read the specific data from meter but there is ciphering and authentication encryption. Is any there any library for Arduino to read the data.

We our referring the https://github.com/Gurux/GuruxDLMS.c. but not getting how to use this library for DLMS PART 2.
Please suggest or share any documents which guide us to read the data.

I want to try communicate with the electricity meter using Serial Port. An example in "Gurux.DLMS.Client.Example.Delphi" folder using TCP-connection.

I read "Introducing GXSerial" branch, but fond no information, that can be helpfull.

Please say, is any components and examples to test Gurux.DLMS component with serial port?

I want to connect multiple meters to the dlms-master and want to read their data on one serial port.For that I am using RS-485 as it is designed to communicate between multiple devices connected to a single data line.In dlms-master application which is in c language I am creating a thread for each meter connection and after opening the serial port I am sharing its file descriptor to all the meter connections (setting the comPort variable of a connection structure).
So is it a correct approach for reading the data of multiple meters on one serial port?.

HDLC Maxpayload lenth not working when we give other than 128(like 256/512...) in gurux client. client not able to download objects from meter. it throws error GET objects failed.
in blue book it says like
"The maximum value of the attributes max_info_field_length_transmit and max_info_field_length_receive has been increased from 128 to 2030 for efficiency reasons."

I was very happy to see that you provided a full example to receive and decrypt push messages from the meter with python a couple of days ago!

but after testing it I noticed that you read the serial until you encounter 7E but this byte can also occur as part of the "regular packet". its even quite often because if I let the python push listener run even though I get a push message every second, only once every 20 seconds a packet is received correctly and can be decrypted.
