I am trying to connect to a HEXING HXE310-KP electric meter over serial (RS-485). I have a MAX 485 module connected via USB.

Despite using the initial settings as specified here, all attempts to connect fail with error message "Failed to receive reply from device in given time".

What could be the problem?

I´m trying to read the Landis + Gyr E450. But I don´t know where to set the right parameters.
The meter is connected serial to the Gurux GXDLMSDirector Version 8.1.1901.1601 running on Win10 64Bit.
I got the authentication and the encyrption-key from my gridoperator, but no block cipher key.
Tell me if i´m wrong, but I think the system title are the first 8 symbols of the Meterserial.
In my case it would be: ZMXi320C

I'm able to read without problems energy profile, but there is a problem with profile billing.
When performing the read the exception "Invalid input string format" occurs.

I' m new to this but managed to connect my Kamstrup meter to my laptops USB using a FTDI converter connected to the meter.
I use default settings. It connect and this dialog comes up : "You need to read Association view to see all objects what the meter can offer. Do you want to do it now?"

Is it possible to decrypt the data received in Notification window with authenticated encryption ?

I faced a message error in Mac Address Setup Object, when I try to edit Mac value in edit box of GXDLMSDirector. I compile and run last versions of GXDLMSDirector and Gurux.DLMS.c library and ServerExample.

When I write a value in edit box and do enter, a message error is display, before any other command. In sequence I attached a screenshot, translating message error to English we get something like: Cannot convert an object of type ‘System.String’ to type ‘System.Byte[]’.
