I am trying to read hexing smart meter and I notice it used Logical name with ciphering, and if I choose Hexing in device menu and trying to connect to meter the program said invalid response ..
I am prettey sure that the meter reply with
"U/HEX5\....."
What does that mean?

I am doing testing for Push notification using a given example Gurux.DLMS.Push.Listener.Example.Net.

I have configured the list of objects in the Push setup object. We receive only one push notification from a server (Meter) for all configured objects.

Even also using GXDLMSDirector we receive only one push notification for configured objects.

Is there any configuration we need to do from GXDLMSDirector to get periodic push notification from a server?
Let me know how to get push notification periodically from server to client?

i'm tryng to read one Iskra MT831 with ethernet connection but I receive a message "failed to receive a reply from the device in given time".
I have used the settings suggested in "See default initial settings" without success.
Normally when i read the counter with another program ( lpreport from one Italian company ) I should insert also the serial number of the counter in order to get one answer but in GXDLMSDirector i can't find the right place were to insert this parameter.

I'm currently running a proof-of-concept and I'm trying to modify the IPV6 Configuration of a meter using your GXDLMSDirector connected to the meter's optical head port.

I can connect to the meter and get the list of all the objects, great!

Then I read the content of the IPv6 Setup object "0.0.25.7.0.255" which allows me to get the content of all the attributes.

"AES-GCM-128 authenticated encryption, ECDSA P-256 digital signature, ECDH P-256 key agreement, SHA-256 hash, V.44 compression and AES-128 key wrap" and "AES-GCM-256 authenticated encryption, ECDSA P-384 digital signature, ECDH P-384 key agreement, SHA-384 hash, V.44 compression and AES-256 key wrap"?

I am trying to communicate with Actaris ACE5000 meter. The parameters selected are:
Client address : 10
Physical Server : 11
Logical Server : 1
Wait time : 5
Authentication : None
Media : Serial
Manufacturer : Actaris Electricity
Start Protocol : DLMS.
Logical Name Refrencing : true.

When I try to connect, I get a response "Failed to recieve reply from device in given time". How can I fix it?

I am new to DLMS meter. I have taken gurux.dlms.server.example2.java as meter and DLMS Director as client.

I am trying to connect meter in secure mode with settings as shown in attached screenshot. But I am getting below error.

I have an Elgama 300 G3A.144 meter, and i try to use GXDLMSDirector to read the serial number start with 0 using start protocol IEC, however the GXDLMSDirector will auto remove the first 0, could you please advise how to enter the S/N with starting 0 ?
