I'm Trying to communicate with Itron SL7000 Meter via DLMS director. Meter is connected to my computer via serial port. I can communicate with this meter by dedicated software ACE pilot but I cannot connect via Gurux DLMS editor. I attached gurux config.
I' ve noticed that when I connect by gurux it send to meter that request:
09:45:53 Send SNRM request.
TX: 7E A0 08 02 23 03 93 3E 74 7E
09:46:13 Failed to receive reply from the device in given time.
09:46:13 Send Disconnect request.
TX: 7E A0 08 02 23 03 53 32 B2 7E

the manufacturer update from Online is not working for very long. we have to add the manufacturer manually when installing GUrux on a new system as if there is no manufacturer defined, Gurux DLMSDirector does not load properly.

It seems an internet error, a TLS/SSL version error comes generally. Tried to change the TLS and SSL versions on my system to 1.0, 2.0, etc. but did not work.

I want to read out the Landis + Gyr E650 meter with Gurux GXDLMSDirector. I connected the meter with a RS485-USB converter to my PC. As communication protocol I want to use DLMS.

Can u tell me wich device settings I need to be able to make a connection. I already tried the default settings, but those are not working. I can see that the meter is receiving commando's, but the meter won't reply. I think because I use the wrong device settings.

Currently, I am testing the Indian Standard (IS15959-2) meter.

For the first time, Connecting meter and download all supported objects from the meter using utility association. Now I am doing write operation directly (Not read) for following obis code of an object type "Data".

- 1.0.0.8.4.255 (Profile Capture Period)
- 1.0.0.8.0.255 (Demand Integration Period)
- 0.0.94.96.19.255 (Metering Mode)
- 0.0.94.96.20.255 (Payment Mode)

So, While writing value on this obis code got error as shown in attachment.

I used Gurux Director for meter testing, however currently I found an issue in writing Data object due to data type "None".
If I used saved gxc file in which previously saved datatype which support the object, write works perfect.
In opposite to it, if I add new device and download all objects which have "None" data type set in Data objects. Now I try to write directly to any object then get attached error.
But if I read prior to write any Data object value then it works, as data type is changed after Read operaion.

I would like to use the DLMSDirector to read data from a Landis Dyr E650 meter, the meter is with battery only, without AC connection. --I can see some data by press the buttons on meter.

so if I install DLMSDirector and connect my pc to the meter cu-B2 using a USB-RJ11 cable,
and the meter is with the battery only, can I read the meter data ? or I have to connect the meter to AC ?

I have implemented a Manufacturer specific DLMS Class for internal purpose and some of its attributes are part of some Instantaneous and Event Profile. So when i read those Profile Generic Obis codes Director fails to populate the Value buffer and Capture Object of respecive Profile Generic Obis code e.g. Instantaneous.

1. Is this the known problem?
2. Can we have solution such that Director just parse unknown Class attributes based on its Data Type and move forward and populate the known data.
