Hexing HXE310 (M23) default block cipher key and Authentication pass

I would like to ask if someone have the default password and cipher key from Hexing HXE310 (M23 model)
The meter is brand new and it has the default settings from the factory, when I buy the meters (I have buy 3 of them) from the official Hexing dealer he didn't give any manual or other support document. Also the Hexing official factory support Center never respond to my emails.
If anyone can help me to make correct connection with that meter I will appreciate it.

Hi Lambros, The ciphering…

Hi Lambros,

The ciphering keys can be anything. It's quite common that for security reasons every meter has its unique keys. You need to ask for this information from the meter vendor.

If you have an application from the meter manufacturer, the keys are usually in the configuration file.

I don't now what to do with that problem , if I will not receive email till next week maybe I return back the meters to the vendor and replace it with other meter Manufacturer .

Hi Lambros, From the…

Hi Lambros,

From the experience, I can say that it's better to change the meter manufacturer if they don't reply to your questions. Do you know what is the latest meter firmware or how to update it? Meter manufacturer support is critical.

If you don't have the keys, reading the meter is impossible. The keys are 16 bytes long random keys and they can be solved by brute force, but it will take a long time.

I have see in this forum that many users of the GXDLMSdirector to connect at high level with Hexing 310 meters. I want to ask about the 'system title' column in secured connection menu , is the serial number of the meter the correct key or something else ??
I know the authentication key is :0000000000000000
If someone confirm that the 'system title' is the serial number of the meter is very big help for me.

Hi Lambros, You can use any…

Hi Lambros,

You can use any 8 bytes long value as a client system title.

Some meter manufacturers are using the same keys for all the meters. Some manufacturers have their own keys for each meter. If your manufacturer is using the same keys for all the meters, there is a small possibility to make this work. If they are using different keys for each meter, you need to get the keys from the manufacturer.

It's bad if you don't get support from the meter manufacturer because they are the only one who knows what are the correct settings for sure.
