We are trying to find a solution to launch DLMS over Lorawan. One thing is that our product is battery-powered water meter.

I have questions:

1. Maybe you have real life examples that this was done before?
2. time / Duty cycle - this time is very strict in lorawan, how it is possible to overcome this barrier when DLMS handshake takes up to 6-12 telegrams?

Current Association - > General tab ->Update High password results to new password sent in non-ciphered way.

Is there any way to cipher password to be set?

BLE communication and reading of current values (without association) work correctly on all meters.

DLMS association (SNRM + AARQ) over BLE works only with the LGZ meter — the meter responds to chunked requests, and we receive replies successfully.

However, on other meters, the same association flow over BLE (sending the association request in chunks) fails — we do not receive any response after sending the AARQ.

Over USB/serial (using the same authentication level LOW), all meters respond correctly to the association request.

I noticed that the list of object types isn’t complete.
For example, if I want to read a Compact Data object (DLMS_OBJECT_TYPE_COMPACT_DATA, IC=62) or LTE Monitoring data (DLMS_OBJECT_TYPE_LTE_MONITORING, IC=151), these object types aren’t mapped in _GXObjectFactory.py.

How should I fill in 'day of week' value in Daylight savings begin/end fields, clock object?

As written in blue book "4.1.6.1 date and time formats examples":

"2) year = 0xFFFF, month =0x FF, dayOfMonth = 0xFE, dayofWeek = 0x07: last Sunday in every year and month;"

so where should I use "7" value in that field?

I have a few doubts regarding communication with energy meters over Bluetooth. Specifically, I would like to understand:

When we say that an energy meter supports Bluetooth communication, does it mean that the meter comes with built-in Bluetooth capability?

Or do we need to externally connect a Bluetooth module to the meter in order to enable Bluetooth-based communication?

I would appreciate it if someone could clarify this for me, especially in the context of commonly used smart energy meters.

I’m working on a Java project using the Gurux DLMS library to certify DLMS/COSEM communication with the IM300 meter from WASION.
I’ve managed to establish the physical connection to the meter (via serial/TCP), but I’m facing issues during the authentication process. Specifically, I’m encountering errors in the second step of the communication, during the AARQ request (Application Association Request), where the meter should reply with an AARE (Association Response).

Below are the authentication parameters provided by the manufacturer to assist with configuration:
