DLMSDirector

Hello,

I have an EM 101+ meter with me which I purchased from the market. Here is a picture of it

There is no mention of the word DLMS anywhere on the meter.

I read many topics on the forum and figured that there are a couple of topics where it is said that the EM101+ is not DLMS compliant like these:

https://www.gurux.fi/node/13017

https://www.gurux.fi/node/6305

And then there are three more posts where it is suggested that some people have been able to read the meter using the Python Script as well as the DLMSDirector

https://www.gurux.fi/node/18116

https://www.gurux.fi/node/17495

https://www.gurux.fi/node/18125

We have been at it for the past 2 days but no luck.

We are neither getting a response back on the SNRM nor on the disconnect. However, we believe that for one random time we did get a response back on the disconnect command but we don't have that log.

The cable works on Genus and Secure Meters' meters and we are able to read the data into the GuruX director as well but we don't know what we are missing here and we are assuming that the EM101+ is infact a DLMS meter.

Our meter is manufactured in late 2021 if that helps!

Hi,

Hi,

There is no DLMS label on the cover of the meter. Some manufacturers are using the same model number and in some versions DLMS is used and in some versions propriety protocol is used. For this reason, I can't say for sure if your meter supports DLMS or not.
You need to ask is DLMS supported or not by the meter vendor.

Thank you for your feedback!

Thank you for your feedback!

We understand that the meter is IS 13779 and not IS 15959 compliant
