Hi Mikko ,
In the case of a meter with a 3g modem integrated , the meter have it s adress ip , or the modem which have an ip adress ? And with which profile communicate the meter in this case .

Hi,

The modem has the IP address. The communication profile depends on the meter. Newer are used WRAPPER and older HDLC.

Yes. If WRAPPER is used, the meter should have an IP address.

so the modem have an IP address and the meter have also another IP address !! or they have the same address ?

Hi,

There is only one IP address. I don't know any meters that have several modems.
The IP address is the address of the modem. The meter doesn't have an IP address.
