It doesn't matter if you are implementing water, gas, or electric meter, the idea is the same. Only the measurable quantity changes.

Sorry , I do not fully understand. As I know , there should be some guidelines for the meter manufacturer to follow so the meter can comply to the DLMS standards and there also should be a more specific guideline on how to transmit the data and under which format, correct?
