Connection Issue with Genus Single Ph and Three Ph meters

Dear Mikko,

We are facing some connection issues with Genus three phase and signle phase meters.

As per the Gurux DLMS director the first command to be sent is the disconnect command

Command:
7E A0 07 03 41 53 56 A2 7E

Response:
7E A0 1E 41 03 73 8E 7F 81 80 12 05 01 80 06 01 80 07 04 00 00 00 01 08 04 00 00 00 01 53 3B 7E

But some times (actually on 4 different occassions) we don't get a response back for this command at all and we don't know what can be done to get a response back and get to start the communication.

Can you advice on the same?

We cannot, unfortunately, attach a laptop to any of those meters and get them to communicate with the DLMS director since they are in the field at a remote place.

Hi,

Without seeing the hex trace it's impossible to say what might cause it. For example, the reason might be on the connection or some external devices might cause problems with the connection.
