DLMSDirector

Hi

I am having trouble authenticating on the Director.
Meter - Landis+Gyr E650
Connection method - Optical Eye (Serial)

I can connect with MAPs software using password '00000000' but I am unable to in DLMSDirector. I did see another post in the forums about this but I couldn't make sense of it.

Trace from DLMSDirector:

Hi,

Hi,

Is this Trace from another post or is it from GXDLMSDirector? This trace shows that the connection is established successfully. What is the problem?

Hi Mikko

Hi Mikko

Sorry about the confusion. The bottom was trace from MAP110. I have removed it. The trace above is from GXDLMSDirector.
I cannot get write access. Using Authentication = Low and password '00000000'
I received 'Connection is permanently rejected. Authentication Failure'

Hi,

Hi,

I checked the MAP110 trace before you removed it and it was using High authentication. What did you try to write? You can usually write only clock and some other values when using Low authentication.

BR,
Mikko
