First of all, Sorry if the question is too obvious I am new to this DLMS protocol.
I am trying to read energy measure from a meter, I am able to open and close session correctly, as well as read the clock.
First the profile is read which apparently is done successfully, however when the measurement request is made, first the server does not respond at all, so the client tries to make the request again and that when the server responds with a RECEIVE READY frame. I understood that this frame was sent to the client from the server, what can it mean when is the server the one sending it to the client?

Can you read the data if you read all the data without start and end time? Some meters expect that the date-time format is in a specific format and handle others. What is your meter model and manufacturer?

I am triying to connect to the device using DLMS Gurux director using the properties show in the image, I think the configuration its ok since it is able to connect with the device, however when i try to read object I get the following error:

You were right, I was been impatient when I wait and refresh the device I was able to read some of the objects, but now I get a new problem, I am getting "not enough memory error" I read , this could be because the meter tells that maximum PDU size is different from the message it is actually sendind, or maybe I dont have enough memory on my heap.
It is able to read some objects so I try to read only one of then I get the same error of memory. How do I difference the source of this error?

If you are using GXDLMSDirector, then the data is strange. Can you send the hex trace by email so I can check what is the problem?

I checked the data. The meter sends Receive Ready when you read the profile generic and actual data is coming about 6 seconds later,
Is this happening every time? Is this happening when you are reading all the data without start and end time?
It might be that the meter needs more time to find data and send RR to indicate this, but this is a custom way to do it.

I have managed to get the measurement correctly after all, I was asking for another OBIS code that was not correct. Now everything works perfectly for me.
