Hello Mikko,

I'm testing our custom meter and need your support regarding "Historical Data Support" for reading history of events that had been encountered. In our meter we have given a support for historical data support. But when I'm downloading the obis code list, I'm unable to read the historical data, i.e obis codes for history of events are not displayed.
Can you guide me, how to read history of events/data using GxDLMSDirector software.

Thanks and Regards,

Hi Anudeep,

Hi Anudeep,

If you can't see historical data in the association view it's not added to the association view.
It might be possible that you need to connect to the meter using different authentication level to see the historical data. You need to ask this from the meter manufacturer because this depends on the meter.

Hello Mikko,

Hello Mikko,

When I try to add "historical data" obis codes manually, by selecting "Add Object" from "Edit" menu. And adding object type and set OBIS code. OBIS code gets added successfully, and when I request to Read that obis code, value is also reflecting correctly.
Is procedure of Manual addition for Obis code of "Historical Data" correct method?
Or those Obis codes should reflect at the time of object list download at the starting?

PS: As per your suggestion, I have tried with different associations and authentication level, but still I was unable to see historical data Obis codes. When added manually, reflected with correct values.

Thanks and Regards,

Hi Anudeep,

Hi Anudeep,

The meter should add all objects to the association view. Manual add is just an ad-hoc how to read special objects if they are not in the association view. You should ask the meter manufacturer to add the object to the association view. What is the used logical name?
