If you modify capture objects you need to refresh that profile generic.
Select profile generic what you have modified and select "Refresh" from "File" menu.
Buffer is not read at all. Select Profile generic and select "Access rights" tab.
Check what are access rights for "Buffer" and "Capture objects".
Change them if they are "No Access".
Buffer is still empty. Some meters expect that seconds and minutes are zero. What if you read the latest day? Is that working? Try to read values where start time is 1.00.00 and end time is 11.0.0. Is that working?
I did it with same result. I have more Iskraemeco MT880 meters and Gurux works perfectly with them...
It happened when I tried to change (add) capture registers:
- I added 1.0.3.8.0.255, 1.0.4.8.255
- I put command WRITE
- I tried to read (But I forgot for Refresh)
- When it didnt work I Removed added registers, put WRITE command and Refresh.
- Still not work
P.
I tried everything. I also read from my java application. All the meters I have Ia reading in the same way - no problem. Only this one, when I tried to change capture registers.
Is it possible that capture register records were damaged. What will happened when I push Reset button in CaptureObject tab?
P.
All have the same FW number... 1.0.0.2.0.255: ISKACMT880100500
It worked fine until I tried change capture objects :-(
I even can read other ProfileGeneric data ...
P.
It might be that meter can't handle if you change capture objects. Can you reset the meter? You will lose all you collected data if you do this.
You can do Global Meter Reset if you find Script Table 0.0.10.0.0.255 and read scripts and execute script #1. NOTE! All meter settings are reset to factory defaults and usually all data is lost.
Mikko I got it...
These ProfileGeneric data (if I change capture registers) will react correctly after period has elapsed (in my case 86400s). I dont know if it is MT880 feature only or it is general feature. But immediately after midnight it start to read correctly (not empty buffer).
P.
You are right. This profile generic is saving data once/day. Period is 24 hours (86400s).
I did try to check it from the pic, but it's compressed and I can't read it.

Thanks Mikko,
I did it. It helped on meter where I added capture registers, but id didnt helped on meter where I changed them.
