DLMSDirector

We are trying to use DLMSDirector to connect to Iskra MT383 with RS485 interface. The meter is connected to TCP/IP netowork through TCP/IP to serial gateway (comcontrol). We have been strugling with DLSMdirector settings. Based on research on this forum, we made the setting as per the attached image, however we have no luck connecting to the server.

We have read in the manual that the HDLC address is the last 2 digits of the meter serial number +16 thats why we have 42 as the physical address.

Any pointer on what could be wrong would be really appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Hi,

Hi,

Some meters require that you set the logical server address to 1.

If that doesn't help, can you read the meter with Meter View and post trace here. I can check the correct settings for you.
Note, that the physical server address is in hex in GXDLMSDirector.

Dear Mikko,

Dear Mikko,

Thank you so much for your prompt reply. I have checked meterview and was able to read the configuration from the meter and save it to .mvp. I could not find a trace option in the meter view.

Shall I send the .mvp file? would that help
Thanks

Hi Sherif,

Hi Sherif,

There is a trace button in Tools stop (below the menu) where you can see the trace. I don't have Meter View in this PC so I can't take a screenshot.

Mikko
