Thanks in advance,

No reply from Elster AS330L-G3 meter

Hi,

Try to change start protocol IEC to DLMS. You can try with Kamstrup settings. Let me know what happened. We don't have this meter so I can't test this.

Hello,

Hello,
Still no connection unfortunately even with kamstrup settings.
Very difficult for me to know what's wrong: meter , physical link or GXDLMDirector settings.
I understand that it's impossible to connect if I don't know exactly what physical, logical and client address are expected by the meter and manufacturer: is it correct?

PS:I'll receive a new Landys-Gyr meter in few days, I'll compare and make new tests with this one.

Thanks again.

Hi,

I notest that your baudrate is 1200. Try to change it to 9600 or 300 in IEC.

Hello,

Hello,
Still no connection, I made a lot of tests with different baud rates and settings.
I'll try in few days with new meter, modem and software and try to compare.
Regards,

Hi,

It's always a problem if one of the settings is wrong meter don't reply.
Each manufacturer can use own settings and settings are changed even between the models.
After you have right settings you can read your meter.

BTW: Can you ask from the vendor that meter is supporting DLMS when optical port is used.
Some meters don't support DLMS with the optical port.

BR,

Mikko
