I'm new here and i'm currently trying to read-out a E450s4 from Landis+Gyr.
I have a Sample Meter which I can read out with the L+G dMap120 Software.
So I know the Management Access Password.
And I have a proper optical probe.

But when I'm trying to read out the meter I receive the message:
"Failed to receive reply from the device in given time."

can someone help me?

Following is the flow of our system
Meter<->Controller<->Gateway<->Cloud

We have implemented dlms client in Controller to read the data from Real Meter. we have successfully implemented client and reading data from real meter. meter is providing data and controller is parsing the dlms data to fetch the correct values.

Reading Values from meter are Voltage, Current, PF, Frequency, kWh, kVAh, power in kW, kVA, kVAr.

I develop a device software and I need to write DLMS/COSEM server (language - Python).
In your module I see GXDLMSServer.py file, it looks like the one I need. But I see no examples how to use it and its hard for me to understand it.

So, could you give me some, please?

1. Is it possible to run DLMS client and DLMS server with single controller ?
If yes then is there any example ?

2. Can we generate full frame by giving value to DLMS server ?
Example : Can we generate full frame of voltage by giving value like 230Voltage to DLMS server ?

3. Is there any way to identify request from the response of meter ?
Like if meter send voltage request(1.0.12.7.0.255) response, then is there any way to identify a perticualr response from meter is for voltage

4. Can we get OBIS code in response of meter ?

your library is very useful and well organized. I have collected data from python dams code in raspberry pi.
Now I am doing that same from Arduino. I have copied the library and also sources, including files. program is compiled and loaded in Arduino mega. but now I didn't show any data coming from the dlms meter. what is required to collect data from the dlms meter? I have a genus electric meter.

Hi,
I’m using the ansi C server code in a meter. I have tried to connect two meters in the same RS485 bus over net. In the meters, I compare serverAddress with 1 in one case and 2 in the other in the isTarget method.
When connecting individually to them using GXDLMSDirector it works correctly, but when I connect both on the same bus and connect to meter A, read data from meter A, disconnect from meter A and connect to meter B it doesn’t respond. If I try to reconnect to meter A I get an error saying “Unaceptable frame”.

I'm trying to execute a script from a script table using Python, the code I use is the following:

scriptTable = GXDLMSScriptTable("1.1.1.128.0.255")
script = GXDLMSScript()
script.id = 1
scriptTable.execute(client, script)

And I get the error:
AttributeError: 'GXDLMSScript' object has no attribute 'getId'

As far as I can see in the class definition it's true that there is no getId method:

I want to read specific parameters from the Instantaneous Profile data from Indian standard meter.

Instead of reading all buffer and capture objects, I want to read only Voltage, Current, PF, Frequency, kWh, VAh, power (W), VA, VAr.

Is it possible to read-only required parameters from profile data?

Please provide your valuable suggestion.
