Issue creating data notification messages with GXDLMSNotify.generateDataNotificationMessages

Forums
Gurux.DLMS

My team has an executable written using the C++ GuruX library that creates data notification messages from metering data to be sent to our headend. I am attempting to translate this into Python to better mesh with our other libraries.

The executable takes the following input:

block_key = "00000000000000000000000000000001"
auth_key = "00000000000000000000000000000001"
wrapper_source = 1
wrapper_destination = 1
frame_counter = "139"
system_title = "931501000000FA03"

Gurux.DMLS.Sinulator

Forums
Gurux.DLMS

Hi Mikko.

I am trying to simulate some DLMS servers (meters) with your Gurux.DMLS.Simulator.
I managed to create a template based on my real LGZ meter. However, it seems that the template lacks
<GXDLMSAssociationLogicalName> part.

GXDLMSDirector says:
---------------------------
GXDLMSDirector
---------------------------
ServiceError Initiate Error exception. Initiate IncompatibleConformance
---------------------------
OK Pomoc
---------------------------

Push Object List by meter, what format?

Forums
Gurux.DLMS

We have got a supplier asking us how they should provide the information that describes the object being pushed.

Basically this comes down to the Push Object list, as described here (point 2): https://www.gurux.fi/Gurux.DLMS.Objects.GXDLMSPushSetup

Hi all
I am using Gurux.DLMS as a server simulator.
I get all request-responses well except RLRE.

When I request to GXDLMSServer.cs the RLRQ like this:

DLMS BLUE book with asn.1

Forums
Gurux.DLMS

does DLMS blue book use asn.1 to describe var like
```
capture_object_definition ::= structure
{
class_id: long-unsigned,
logical_name: octet-string,
attribute_index: integer,
data_index: long-unsigned
}
```

can we have any tool to auto make it to code ?
like
struct capture_object_definition
{
u16 class_id
string logical_name;
int attribute_index;
long data_index
}

[Question] Gurux.dlms.c - Read Single Object

Forums
Gurux.DLMS

Hi,

Reading a ISKRA DLMS Meter using Gurux.dlms.c.

code sample how i'm reading the obis code - device name [0,0,42,0,0,255] is given below.

Issue: while reading the device name, some extra characters are appearing in
the end.
Ex: ISK0070777807016ýýýý

Expected result: ISK0070777807016

When i'm reading via GuruX Director, the value is proper.

Currently, to remove the extra character used a sub_string function, reading
based on capacity/length.

Bug-Report: Assoation View Error when reading out Landis + Gyr 2G or 4G meters

Forums
Gurux.DLMS

Hi,

when reading out Landis + Gyr 2G or 4G meters like E350 2G 4G and E570 2G 4G, an error message occurs when exporting the XML Assoation View.

I use the Gurux.DLMS.Client.Example.python example with the following arguments:
python main.py -S COM5 -L LGZ -r sn -i HDLC -t Verbose -a Low -c 1 -P 12345678 -o test.xml

Is the error on my end, or is it really a bug in the Python Gurux Framework?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Best regards,
Manuel
