I must say you guys at GURUX are doing a great work.

I am currently working a smart meter project and which to implement the GURUX DLMS protocol.
The server and client component works well and I'm able to read the server with the client application.

Now I want to write to the server. I observed I would need to use DLMS_AUTHENTICATION_HIGH and I guess a password. I'm not exactly sure now to do this on the client and server side.

On the client side, I initialized the client with

I am doing a program to read the load profile in a smart meter, but I can not do tests because I do not have any DLMS meter.

Is there a simulator or some ip /port where I can do some test?

I am trying to determine the scaler and unit of load profile column of a Actaris SL7000 meter.
I am struggling at the moment.

When reading attribute 3 of the individual column register(I.E 1.1.1.29.0.255) I get Access Denied.
I have tried using other registers/extender to determine the load profile scaler and unit but the values is not the same when comparing the readings to what is produced with Ace Pilot.

Any help would be appreciated.

We are using Gurux DLMS .NET library to communicate with Landis+Gyr meter. A manufacturer application requires to input 4 last digits of the meter serial number +1000 as a server address to establish communication with the meter.
These (last 4 digits + 1000) are 4470 and are translated as server address bytes in a frame sent to the meter as 0x000244ED.

In my hand I am having the following things.

Elster AS3000 Three phase meter
Elster AM300 module as ethernet gateway
Gurux DLMS

I would like to know how can we connect and communicate the meter with the HES (gurux DLMS), a few queries are attached here with screenshoot.

I am trying to connect using CPP sample to Indian meter from Crystal manufacturer,

I am able to successfully connect and read data with Low authentication,
also I am able to successfully connect with High auth from Director application,
but High authentication fails with CPP sample tool:

I have used Gurux GXDLMSDirection version 8.1.1807. My meter used Texas Instrument DLMS library. When I connected to my meter with gurux director in lowest authentication (no authentication), we got 4 objects. We can read 3 other objects, but when I read clock object, I got error message Insufficient Memory
Why this problem can happen ? Can you guide us how to solve this problem?

Is there any api which can help me to get corresponding name of parameter when we pass OBIS code to it?
My requirement is it prepare a .xml file which contain the name of the parameters being polled instead of OBIS code.

I am trying to read individual OBIS code with below given command but it is getting failed with segmentation fault.

./gurux.dlms.client.bin -S /dev/ttyUSB0:9600:8None1 -g "1.0.9.8.7.255:2" -a "Low" -P "ABCD0001" -c 32 -s 16640

Also when I try to read all data it is working fine.
Can you help me to rectify where i am going wrong?

How to parse this string frame to get the values , and also is there any function that will receive a frame as string and will give me all the values ?
