Gurux DLMS.CPP - Write Operation

Forums
Gurux.DLMS

I'm new in the DLMS World, and I would like a write operation using a DLMS.CPP stack. I believe that an example to write date and time using LN (OBIS code 0.0.1.0.0.255) will be sufficient to better understand this procedure. Thanks in advance!

Client Side End Connection Procedures

Forums
Gurux.DLMS

To establish a meter connection, the "client side' sends a SNRM + AARQ request. I would like to know if the 'client side' must send an RLRQ + DISC, or the only DISC to terminate this connection. What is the best practice in this issue?

Read profile generic data buffer issue

Forums
Gurux.DLMS

Hi,
I am using elster meter and I want to read the hourly archive buffer from the meter.

I can read the profile entries, capture period etc. But I am not getting how to read the data buffer by using Gurux ReadRowsByRange method.

Please help me to read the buffer also find the below instruction which is shared by meter vendor to read the buffer.

"The buffer reading of daily consumption supports selective access by range. Every time the buffer needs to be read, it will be done from time1 to time 2, using the UNIX date and time as restricting object."

Connection issue using management client with AuthenticationEncryption security

Forums
Gurux.DLMS

I am using elster meter. We are able to communicate with the meter using public a client (Id 16), authentication None and security None. Since we need to establish an explicit application association, I am following below step to establish the connection.
SNRM Request -> AARQ Request -> Read association view or logical name

But the problem is we are not able to connect the same meter with the management client (Id is 1) using authentication High (tried with both Low and None) and security AuthenticationEncryption.

Energy Meter Message Format

Forums
Gurux.DLMS

Hi,

Message Format send by Energy Meter
b'\x00\x01\x00\x01\x00\x01\x00\x10\n\x02\n1721025659\x00B}'

I have received above message (Hex Byte Array) by meter to server. I need to know what is this message format? In response to this message which message should I send back to meter?
I also need to know if I want to get Positive Active Energy from meter (OBIS Code 1.8.0) which message should I send to meter?
