Hi,
can you please help me, what I am making wrong?
When I add device with manufacture ACE device communicate (but say wrong manufacture ID ZPA not ACE).
When I create new manufacture ZPA with same setting like ACE, device communication timeout.
I think problem is in save setting of serial port, because every time when i reopen device properties, i must set serial port again.
For ZPA electro meters use:
Manufacture ID: ZPA
Start protocol: IEC
Authentification: Low
Password: last 6 numbers of serial number
Baud Rate: 300
Data bit: 7
Parity: Even
Stop Bits: One
My OS: Windows 7 + USB/RS485 converter

Hi,
When you start communicating with the meter you use IEC at first.
In IEC you get wrong manufacturer error.
When you create new template you can pass this phase, but meter is not returning anything in DLMS handshake. Reason is that your client or server address is not correct.
Can you ask what client and server address you should use from the manufacturer?

I have default manufacture values, just change:
Protocol: DLMS => IEC
Authentification: None => Low
Password: 6digits
When I use manufacture actaris electricity:

and when open edit settings remember OK
But when I create new manufacture (ZPA)

everything looks OK, same configuration, but connection timeout

I think so, problem is in remember values of serial port settings, because when reopen edit window, it have wrong values:

And next problem is when I save project, it's look OK, but when I try it open it write error:
