Hi,

I'm triying to read values of a Actaris SL7000, the comunication is ok. I create the device Manufacturer Actaris electricity, phisical server 11(17 decimal), logical server add 1, client id 10 (16 decimal). I got response of the metter but the only value I can read is 0.0.42.0.0.255 Logical Device Name and I want voltage, current, powers and energies values, but I can't add object to the list like.

So what can i add this objets to the list...

Actaris SL7000

Hi,

Your Authentication mode is None. Change it to Low and read again.
Actaris returns only name when authentication is not used.

I actually am trying to communicate with this same meter. The parameters selected are Client ID : 10 (hex)
Server ID : 1 (hex)
Wait time : 5
Authentication : None
Media : Serial
Manufacturer ID: ACE
Start Protocol : IEC.

I also checked the Use Logical Name Refrencing.

When I try to connect, I get a response "Failed to recieve reply from device in given time". I decided to monitor the serial line. I discovered that the Flag protocol actually is implemented but when the Gurux editor sends the SNRM Frame, the Meter does not reply, and I get that warning. Why is that so? And how can I fix it?

Thanks.

Hi,

If meter is doing something important or that will take long time it will not answer. Then you have to wait for a while and try again.

You must use authentication to see more than plain meter name.
You can find default values here:

Hi,

With low authentication SL7000 returns only name.
You must use low authentication.

See instructions here:

Actaris ACE SL7000

Hi,

I´m here to ask for a help about the SL7000 Smart meter.

The question is: How much (in percentage) is the deviation error caused if the phase sequence is not correct in a ACE SL7000 meter.

I'd be very grateful for your answer.

Regards,

A Santana

Actaris ACE SL7000

Hi,

I do not know if some one of community members can help with this but I can't.
Can you ask from Itron (Current owner of Actaris)?

BR,

Mikko
