Hi,

Hi,

The client example reads all objects from the meter and shows them on the command prompt. If you want to show current power compsumption find "active power" and current value is there. If you want to read how much electricity you have used in the last hour you need to read "Load profile with recording period 1" object.

Where are the power/energy values here? Should i be able to read them without any authentication?

Hi,

Hi,

It seems like you can't read them without authentication. If you have the password change the authentication level and the client address and give it a try.

Hi,

Hi,

It depends on the meter what you can see or do with the different authentication levels.

You can try with the default L+G low-level password 00000000.
You can also try with 12345678 or ABCDEFGH
If it fails, the meter owner has changed it and it can be anything.

BR,
Mikko
