I´m starting with DLMSDirector and the smart meter ZIV 5CTM. I have been changing the configuration serveral times, but i could´t stablish connection with the meter. Reading other topics I realice that the smart meter doesn´t have the dlms identification in the meter. ¿Does this mean that is not compilant with dlms standart? I ask the manufacturer, and they said that it should work.

¿Any ideas?

We are not able to connect to L & T meter with 0x15 client address and Low authentication password.
First we have connect with public client 0x10 and able to read mandatory objects
0.0.40.0.1.255 Public client association
0.0.41.0.0.255 SAP Assignment
0.0.42.0.0.255 Logical Device
0.0.1.0.0.255 Clock
0.0.22.0.0.255 HDLC Setup

However when we use client address 0x15 with Low authentication and password it is not able to connect.
Password given is lnt1

Please let me know how to proceed.

Hi,

I want to read Instantaneous parameters from L & T ER300P meter via optical port.
I am able to read from objects from public client address 0x10.

When I give Client address 0x15/0x16/0x17 address with Low Authentication and password it is not connecting.

Can you tell me how to proceed ? Is it that optical port gives limited information ?

I am working on DLMS protocol and is using gurux device suite/director, but these day no link to download device suite is available. Even older downloaded version not working on another PC (do not download list of manufacturer). Need some help on this topic.

Hi!

While using the DLMSDirector, I noticed something that I think might be a bug. I thought I'd submit a patch for it but I wanted to check with you guys first.

These are the steps:
Devices -> Add new device -> Media: Serial

Now, if I select 'DLMS' here, the 'Advanced' button is enabled. However, if I select 'IEC', it isn't. As far as I know, changing the baud rate when running IEC1107 shouldn't really be a problem, right?

As a Application (client by DLMS) know what devices (server by DLMS) are connected, if the initiator connection is a device with a built-in GSM modem mode GPRS (powered by lithium battery) with a dynamic IP address (protocol TCP/IPv4)?
In my opinion, the solution may be as follows:
1. After tcp_established the first request from the “Data Collection” SERVER (client by DLMS) SNRM should be empty (ID server by DLMS) (No-station - 0 or All-station (broadcast)-0x3FFF);
2. From the device as CLIENT (server by DLMS) must sent to the identification packet with address for next step.

In the left column listing, select the item, Whose value to edit, by clicking its name.
Enter the new value to the Value text field.
Press Enter.
The Value changed icon Appears
at the end of the row of the edited value, and
on the edited object data, in the Device Tree on the left.

to read some data but got some difficulties:

1st Experiment:
First experiment was with an optical interface (BLUSKY) and a Landis+Gyr meter.
I added the device with the configurations:
Start Protocol: IEC, Media: Serial

Authentication: None
Wait Time: 20, Client Address: 10
Address Type: SerialNumber
Serial number: , Logical Server: 1
Serial Port: COM9, The configurations for Serial Port, are correct.
