The Reader is waiting more exactly about 180 Seconds (3 x 60) for the existing task to finish before starting new task.
So, the wait time and resend count settings of the device template is not used !
Also, number of threads seems not effective, I have about 176 devices on different 32 media interfaces. So I expect if I set threads to 10 for example to have reading time 10% of the reading time if threads is set to only 1, but actually I don't have such performance enhancement.
First, is is required to add devices to a reader ?
Secondly, I assigned first device to the only available reader, but when I try to add another device I receive the error message "The device is already added to the selected reader" although it is different device.
Hello.
There are 2 problems.
1. In the AMI after 12.10 the schedule stopped working: when the attribute is set to read on a schedule, the task does not start (the time when the schedule starts is not changed).
2. AMI (version 6.10) running on Windows, the schedule works in it, while if the same ami is run under Linux, the schedule does not work (the time when the schedule starts is not changed).
Some settings/parameters are fixed (Same) for all devices, only certain settings will change for each device.
But if I try to change anything except for the device name and physical address, I have the message "No Device Template Available", in the new version the device settings revert back to the template settings.
So, I have to create one device template for each group of devices which differ only in name and physical address. In my case this will be a lot of templates.
Is this logical, and if it is how can I bypass it?
