Protocol Version in AARQ Packet

Forums
Gurux DLMS for ANSI C

Could you please clarify why the bit string 100001 is used as the value for the protocol-version field in the AARQ APDU?

I have analyzed multiple AARQ exchanges across different tools and interfaces, with specific focus on how the protocol-version field is BER-encoded and interpreted.

Landis E650 via RS485

Forums
DLMSDirector

I tried to connect E650 via RS845 port, use HDLC, low, 00000000, client address 32, serial number 95798354. After save the configuration and read from meter, it seems that DLMSDirector can read some data from meter, but maybe error make it stop. But the tree display is OK. I tried to connect and read the tree parameter, it can't work.
Can you help me fix this issue?

DlmsDirector security key translation mode

Forums
DLMSDirector

Hi Mr. Mikko, I would like to ask you about the blockCipher , Authentication keys . I would like to know how the GXDirector Translate the digits of blockCipherKey and AuthenticationKey (example 2222222222222222 ASCII) when communicate with the meter with secured connection. What will the code be after the modification/translation that GXDirector will do?? What format will it have the 2222222222222222 key?

Not able to read all 25,000 virtual meters created using 'Gurux.DLMS.Simulator.net'

Forums
Gurux.Net

I have created 25,000 virtual meters using 'Gurux.DLMS.Simulator.net' but not able to read all meters simultaneously. it is randomly fails. success count is randomly changing from 5% to 40%. Majority meters are not replying any response and I am getting timeout error.
I have already tuned up all TCP connection settings & concurrent settings, so there is no configuration related issue at OS level.

Help me to solve this issue.

OBIS codes mismatch between GXDLMSDirector and Landis+Gyr Map110

Forums
DLMSDirector

Hi everyone!

We have noticed that the OBIS of the capture objects differ between the Map110 and GXDLMSDirector tools.

The Map110 UI scales the values, while GXDLMSDirector does not. However, if the scalars for each of the registers are read and applied to the GXDLMSDirector values, you'll see that the values are identical. The active and apparent power registers have a scalar of 0.1, which is further scaled by 0.001 to get kW and kVA instead of W and VA in Map110. Current and voltage both have a scalar of 0.01.

We need to confirm the following:
