I am working with the Gurux.DLMS Python library to configure a meter and I'm having trouble successfully writing to the send_destination_and_method attribute (attribute 3) of the Push Setup object (Class ID 40, OBIS 0.0.25.9.0.255).

I'm trying to use DLMSDirector to discover what is available on the meters ACE6000 and SL7000. It's my first time trying DLMS protocol.

I manage to successfully connect to the meter, and get the serial number / manufacturer name.

HDLC, logical name referencing

Client address : 1
Auth : Low
Password : ABCDEFGH
Logical server : 1
Physical server : 17 (or 0x11) - works as well with 0x3FFF
Media : Net
IP, Host, checked Use serial port throught Ethernet.

Hi Mikko Sir,

I need to create methods in my app's code for writing data to the COSEM Object of the meter. Can you please guide on how can I do that?

For example, I've to set 0.0.94.96.20.255 Payment Mode from prepaid to postpaid (or vice versa). For doing that in windows GXDLMSDirector, we change its value from 0 to 1 or 1 to 0 and write it to the meter after making a secured US connection.

Please guide.
