Scalar in profile generic

I have a doubt about the scalar part in the profile generic class. In the block load profile, for the voltage parameter, there is no decimal point displayed in the UI. As I have given the scalar part in the Scalar: block load profile parameter.

Hi, The scaler is used if it…

Hi,

The scaler is used if it's set to the register object. If you have changed the scaler, you need to read the association view again because the scaler is static and it's read only once.

Find the register object, e.g. 1.0.12.27.0.255, and check the scaler value. In the Indian standard, scalers can be saved to a profile generic buffer. GXDLMSDirector doesn't support that feature.

Even if I read for the first time, there is no change of decimal point. Is it compulsory that every parameter that is in the profile generic class should be mentioned in the register class?

Hi, It's possible to save…

Hi,

It's possible to save clock, data, register, etc values to the profile generic buffer.

I can see from the pic you share that your meter is using Indian standard. If you read the register object 1.0.12.27.0.255 what is the scaler value?

It should be the same as in the screenshot (0,01).

BR,
Mikko
