Error when trying to read meter with GXDLMSDirector.

Hello,

I got some errors when I was trying to read the DLMS meter with "GXDLMSDirector".

Please suggest solutions.

Hi,

Please, don't add pictures. They are hard to read.
One of your settings is wrong and the meter doesn't reply.

What meter do you try to read (model and manufacturer) and what communication channel you are using (TCP/IP, serial)?

Following Information on the meter

model: L&T Electrical & Automation (Three Phase HTCT Multi-Port Meter)
manufacturer: ER300P
communication Channel: optical Prop to Serial Port USB.

Please suggest.

Hi,

First, make sure that the cable of the optical probe is downward.

If I remember right the ER300P is not using Mode E, so select HDLC to interface type.
Check from the meter documentation what is the used baud rate and you should be able to connect.

settings
Serial Port: COM7
Use Maximum Baud Rate 300

Please suggest the proper solution. and let me know where to check the baud rate.

Hi,

You can change the baud rate from the advanced button. Don't check the "Use maximum baud rate".

You can try with a baud rate of 9600, but you need to check it from the meter documentation or ask the meter vendor.
