We are having problem reading the Landis+Gyr E550 DLMS meter via RS232 port. We connect the meter to the RS232 port through the RJ45 connector on the meter.
After configuring the DLMSDirector and tried to establish connection to the meter, it failed time out. So we are thinking maybe configure the settings on the DLMSDirector incorrectly or we make an incorrect connection to the meter.
If anyone have interface to Landis+Gyr E550 to the DLMSDirector through RS232 serial port, please share with us the configuration, it will be great!

Have you selected HDLC as the interface? Usually, the reason is with serial port settings or wires.
Try with different baud rates. Use other settings as 8None1.
After you have the correct serial port settings, the meter will reply. Do you have an optical probe? If you do, change Interface to HdlcWihModeE and give it a try.
