DLMSDirector

Hello Gurux team,

I am using version 8.0.1704.1901 and could not find how to interact with a meter implementing COSEM UDP transport, with WRAPPER layer.

Here is my settings :
- Start protocol : DLMS
- Media : net
- Hostname : xxx
- Host port : xxx
- protocol : UDP
- use serial port through ethernet : false

With this setting, DLMSDirector sends a UDP encapsulated SRNM frame to the specified IP address / port..
I would expect more a WRAPPER 8 bytes header followed by AARQ...

Am I doing something wrong or is this not yet supported ?

Regards,

AngMo

DLMSDirector UDP Wrapper

Hi AngMo,

If you want to use WRAPPER, you must select "Manufacturers" under "Tools". Then select manufacturer and check that "Use IEC 62056-47" is checked. If SNRM message is sent, you are using HDLC, not WRAPPER.

Mikko
