How to create an DLMS Simulator with HighGMac authentication

Hi, I want to create an simulator with HighGmac authentication by editing crystal.xml in gurux.sinulator project but i doesn't work. So i wanna ask how to create a simulator like that. Thank you

Hi,

It's not so easy. There are multiple settings that must be set before GMAC authentication can be used.

Do you want to use just GMAC or also the ciphering (encryption)

i thing i also need ciphering. i have a client service and now i want to test it with simulator with HighGmac authentication. thanks

Hi,

Get the latest version from the simulator. There is GMacWithAuthenticationEncyption.xml template for GMAC with authentication encryption.

Establish the connection to the meter.
-h METER_IP -p 4061 -c 1 -a HighGMAC -P Gurux -C AuthenticationEncryption -T 4775727578313233 -A D0D1D2D3D4D5D6D7D8D9DADBDCDDDEDF -B 000102030405060708090A0B0C0D0E0F -v 0.0.43.1.0.255 -t Verbose

Select the current association and add the objects you need.
